Roshunda Buchanan is the founder, Executive Director of 2Unique Community Salvation Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, publisher and editor of 2Unique Magazine who is an authentic celebrity journalist and entrepreneur who has appeared on several local TV and radio shows including 88.5 SCS Radio, WLOK 1340 AM, WLRM Talk 2Me, Her Groove Radio and Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) “Joy in our Town” and creator of “Find Your Design” Career Track & Leadership in Memphis, TN that prepares youth and young adults for the workforce through career and professional development. The program created by Ms. Buchanan, “Find Your Design” encourages youth and young adults to find their vocation. Roshunda has devoted the past years to building and revealing the character, talents and potential of the Memphis Metropolitan area. Ms. Buchanan has also provided professional development training in urban communities, churches, and correctional facilities. She was recognized by the Lexington Central Kentucky Branch of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. for her contribution toward the advancement of women’s health during the 2009 Youth Leadership Summit, 2019 Dress for Success Honoree for the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award in recognition of Perseverance and Business Creativity and 2019 Stone Award honoree for Best Publication in Memphis, Tennessee. She was named one of the Memphis Flyer’s “20 under 30” who is making a difference in the Memphis, TN community in 2010. Roshunda Buchanan is a graduate of Leadership Memphis 2010, possesses an Associate’s degree in Psychology and Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Organizational Leadership and Nonprofit Development and holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
After years of research and reflection, volunteering and serving throughout the City of Memphis, Roshunda Buchanan, founded 2Unique Community Salvation Foundation to address the vast disconnect between personal talent and employment opportunities. Through extensive research 2Unique found that students on many academic levels graduate unprepared to immediately obtain employment due to a lack of work experience, but primarily because of poor preparation in professional business acumen and effective work practices.
Roshunda understands that in order to find your “true” legacy you must first “Find Your Design”.
