Hello Ms. Buchanan,
I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for hosting SWRK student volunteers this semester. They all expressed how much they learned under your supervision, and how moved they were by your work….a few words were used like “passionate” and “visionary” in describing your work and program.
The students’ presentation of their experience and time with 2Unique was heartwarming! They learned so much from you and enjoyed getting to know the staff! They also learned a lot about the needs of the community and how to get engaged. I was also VERY impressed with the commercial/ ad that was created…it looked great!
I hope we can continue to send SWRK student volunteers to assist you and the staff at 2Unique in the Spring semester. Hopefully, this experience was just as positive for you both as it was for the students.
Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving Holiday!
